About Flexi-Orb
The Flexible Energy Oversight Registration Body (Flexi-Orb) has been working closely with industry stakeholders over the last few years to build an Installation Scheme that will benefit installers, homeowners, and the industry as a whole. The Scheme, which is accredited to ISO/IEC 17065:2012 within the scope of the Certification Bodies who operate the Scheme on our behalf, is the first of its kind to be recognised by UKAS to ISO/IEC 17067:2013 and covers Solar PV, Electrical Energy Storage Systems, and Electric Vehicle Charge Points. It is also recognised by DESNZ.
Our Heat Pump Scheme has also been formally recognised by UKAS and is currently being accredited via our Certification Bodies.
Alongside the Scheme, Flexi-Orb delivers oversight data (through its Flexible Energy Register) and regulatory support to ensure consumers are protected and also to enable true interoperability, working towards achieving a decentralised, flexible, zero carbon, low-cost energy network.

We want to bring competition to an industry that has previously had only one Scheme Owner. We want to provide choice, drive up standards, increase safety, disrupt, innovate, and lead by industry consensus to instil confidence in the Green Economy.
Our Mission is to offer the best possible, relationship-driven certification scheme in the UK for the ultimate consumer benefit and to facilitate the transition to renewable energy.
We want Flexi-Orb to be unequivocally considered the premium brand in its chosen space.
In doing so, we want to attract Installer Companies who share our consumer-driven values, and who also want to evidence to their customers that they are working to the highest standard attainable. In maintaining our standards, we will become the preeminent Scheme Owner in Renewables, increasing our scope of technologies, and widening our certification remit to include people certification, carbon saving validation, and end of life product re-manufacturing.
