Technologies we cover
You can be certified to carry out and register installations for Solar Photovoltaic (PV) up to 50kW, Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) up to 50kWh, and Electric Vehicle Charge Points (EVCP) up to 22kW. In addition to this, we are currently working on adding Heat Pumps to our Installation Scheme and you will be able to become certified to install this technology in 2025.

What are the costs?
Our initial assessments are more challenging, and the fee reflects this. But we want to support the industry by ensuring our ongoing fees are as lean as possible. The fee for registering an installation on the Flexible Energy Register is £20 (irrespective of whether 1, 2, or 3 technologies have been installed) compared to the typical comparative industry fees of £30 per technology, per registration.
