Good Practice Principles Policy
Flexi-Orb as a Scheme Owner is committed to the continuing improvement, development and operation of its schemes and businesses covering green heating products and installation of renewable energy products to the five good practice principles laid out by the Competition & Markets Authority.
The five principles cover the following areas.
- How standards bodies promote their activities – effective promotion
- Vetting and monitoring practices – robust vetting and monitoring
- Complaints and dispute resolution – smooth dispute resolution
- Use of sanctions – effective use of sanctions
- Financial protections – strong financial protections
In seeking continual improvement and development of its schemes and businesses Flexi-Orb uses all available data to update scheme requirements, amend risk assessments, refine processes and provide its Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs), its installers, and members of its other businesses with up-to-date advice on compliance issues.
Flexi-Orb considers that each of the five principles applies to the operations of its schemes and businesses, and as such, has reviewed its current practices against each of them to confirm that it is meeting the criteria in practice in its day-to-day operation of these schemes and businesses.
