Handover Pack Guide
Following the completion of any installation you must provide your customer with a comprehensive handover pack containing all relevant system documentation. Not only is this a Flexi-Orb Installation Scheme requirement, but it also helps to build trust with your customers and sets you apart from your competitors. Plus, by providing all the necessary documentation, you demonstrate your commitment to delivering a high-quality service and the importance you place on customer satisfaction.
The exact documentation that should be included will vary slightly depending on the type of installation, however, as a guide the below is generally required for all packs.

- Building Regulations Compliance Certificate
- Insurance Backed Guarantee (IBG) details/ certificate
- Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) details
- Flexi-Orb certificate
- DNO notification/ application form and commissioning approval
- Wiring schematic (line diagram)
- Test results of electrical connections
- Operation and maintenance instructions
- Emergency shutdown procedure
- Product warranties
- Product datasheets
- Installer full contact details and final invoice
Scheme Handover Documentation Requirements
Our POL-003 Scheme Handover Documentation Requirements Policy confirms which documents a Certified Installer must provide as a minimum following the installation of Solar PV, an Electrical Energy Storage System and/or an Electric Vehicle Charge Point (EVCP).
This information will ensure key system data is readily available to a client, assessor or maintenance engineer. The documentation includes basic system data and the information expected to be provided in the operation and maintenance manual.
This policy, which can be downloaded below, forms part of the suite of documents provided to an installer by their certification body, once certified.
