Manufacturers
Flexi-Orb aims to support the UK Renewable Energy industry by preventing unnecessary duplicate product certification applications and testing. To achieve this, instead of introducing another Product Certification Scheme, we ask Manufacturers to self-certify that their products meet the Minimum Standards Criteria as outlined in our POL-008 Product Policy.
Our Certified Installers are only permitted to install products we have reviewed and listed on our registration database. By joining Flexi-Orb and registering your products on our database, it allows certified installers to promote your products and provides consumers with choice and confidence.
The charge for each registration is £250 for one product and £500 for a bulk registration.

Complying with Code of Practice for product safety recalls – PAS7100 – by managing product recalls efficiently for customers registered with Flexi-Orb.
Rapid Alert System
Complying with Rapid Alert System [RAPEX] – part of the GPS regulations – by sending consumers registered with Flexi-Orb product safety notices.
WEEE Regulations
Complying with Waste Equipment and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 [WEEE] – by proactively engaging with consumers on what should happen when the product reaches its end of life.
GPS Regulations
Complying with General Product Safety Regulations 2005 (GPS) – by signposting consumers to Flexi-Orb to receive the latest and relevant safety advice.
